Pingping Xiu

Mr. Xiu is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science Dept. of Lehigh University. His advisor is Prof. Henry S. Baird. He also works part of his time with Prof. Daniel P. Lopresti. Before he came to Lehigh University, he studied in China in Tsinghua University with Prof. Xiaoqing Ding and got his Master's degree.

Now he is taking 2nd year's courses and meanwhile continuing his Ph.D. topic on "Information-Theoretic Whole Book Recognition". He plans to pass his qualifier and Ph.D. proposal in the Spring 2008 semester.
