Oral and written communication of information in computer science. Technical writing; structure, style, and delivery of oral presentations; use of visual aids. Prerequisite or Corequisite: CSE 17 or 18.

Students will have:

  1. Experience presenting talks of variety of styles and lengths to a group
  2. Experience writing on a technical topic for a technical audience
  3. Understanding of the process of designing a good technical talk or paper
  4. An introduction to the academic publishing process
