This course has two required texts: Computer Networking: A Top-Down Approach Featuring the Internet, 2nd Ed, Kurose and Ross, Addison Wesley (2003), and TCP/IP Sockets in C: Practical Guide for Programmers, Donahoo and Calvert, Morgan Kaufmann (2001). Both are available from the university and online bookstores.Grading
Expected grading: homework, quizzes, and class participation will be worth 20%; hourly exam 1 - 20%; hourly exam 2 - 20%; final exam 20%; and semester projects 20%.Syllabus
