For this assignment you will re-purpose a prior report that you have written and format it within LATEX. It doesn't matter when the report was written, or for what subject. Take your existing report and do your best to re-format it within LATEX. The report should be between 4 and 8 pages long when you are done.
Your report must:
You can learn how to do each of these things by reading additional chapters of Flynn's book on LaTeX.
- use either the report or article documentstyle
- be in a two-column format
- include at least one itemized list
- include at least one simple equation (more than just x = 1)
- include at least one figure that is also referenced in the text
- include at least two sections
- use the times package to change the default fonts
You do not:
- Need to incorporate graphics (even if the original had diagrams, etc.).
- Need to format the report perfectly (as long as you do include the features mentioned above).
- Need to use the entire report if it would be longer than 8 pages.
- Need to write any additional text if your report is less than 4 pages -- just copy and paste copies of existing text to extend the length.
Submission Requirements
- As usual, your homework must reside in the cse271.071/hw6 subdirectory.
- Do a touch DONE when your homework, consisting of hw6.tex, hw6.ps, and associated temporary files, is ready to be collected.
