2. Consider a system using ntpd. How will ntpd handle a situation in which you set the time a month ahead?
3. What is smrsh, and why should you consider using it instead of /bin/sh?
4. Find a piece of spam in your mailbox (if you have none, I'll be happy to send you some) and look at the headers. What signs are there that the mail has been forged? (Please disregard any extra headers or notes that have been added by a spam detection system such as spam assasin.) Check to see whether one of the DNS blacklists would have blocked the delivery of the spam, and if so, which dnsbl?
5. Outline the differences between Red Hat KickStart, AutoYaST, and SystemImager. When would you choose SystemImager over one of the distribution-specific installers?
6. Required bonus question: Write a good question and answer that you think should be on the exam. It can cover anything we've covered since the first exam. This is a bonus because you will get credit in this HW no matter what question (and answer) you generate, and if you are fortunate, the question (or something similar) will be on the exam. I will collect and publish the suggested questions (not answers) on the course website.
