Dr. Hofmeister received her A.B in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College, M.S. in Computer Science from Lehigh University, and Doctorate from the University of Maryland, with a dissertation on dynamic reconfiguration of distributed systems. Prior to joining Lehigh's faculty in 2000, she spent a number of years at Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton, NJ. Dr. Hofmeister's current research areas are software architecture, component-based systems, and web applications.
