Christine Hofmeister is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hofmeister received her A.B. in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College, M.S. in Computer Science from Lehigh University, and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, with a dissertation on dynamic reconfiguration of distributed systems. Her current research areas are software architecture, component-based systems, and web applications. She has coauthored numerous papers in addition to the book Applied Software Architecture, which is part of Addison-Wesley's Object Technology Series.
