Note: all students in CSE10 must also be enrolled in a multimedia laboratory, either CSE13 or CSE14.

CSE13 is for students who do not plan to take any other courses in the Computer Science sequence and wish a lighter exposure to programming. CSE14 is for those who plan to take more courses in the Computer Science (the next one is CSc17). All students will learn programming in Java, but students in CSc13 will get programming assignments that are progressively less challenging, compared to the assignments for students in CSE14. The final exams for CSE13 and CSE14 students will also either be slightly different. Students may switch between CSE13 and CSE14 at any time during the semester up until the last day of classes; after the drop/add period ends, you will need to fill out a petition, but I will automatically sign it.
