Late homework
Homework assignments can be handed in late up to 50 hours after the deadline. If you hand it a homework assignment late, it will be graded normally, but it's score will be reduced by 2% per hour late. The number of hours late is computed as ceiling(due date and time in hours) - floor(received date and time in hours). For example, if an assignment is due on March 12 at 11:59pm and I receive your submission on March 13 at 12:57am then,

    ceiling(March 12 at 11:59pm) = March 13, 0:00 hours
    floor(March 13 at 12:57am) = March 13, 0:00 hours
    -----------------------------------------------
    ceiling() - floor() = 0 ==> No late penalty

Academic integrity
Students are encouraged to discuss assignments and projects with others, but must write up the solutions and reports independently. Students are responsible for protecting their work from being copied. If multiple students turn in identical work, this is cheating, and all students involved will be held accountable. The minimum penalty for any violation is a grade of 0 on that assignment. In addition, the students will be reported to the Dean of Students.
